This guide will explain the various design options available in QR Batch, enabling to creation of customized QR codes that stand out.
QR Codes have evolved from simple black-and-white patterns into customizable design elements that can align with the brand identity or personal style. QR Batch helps create visually appealing and functional QR Codes.
A. Design the QR Codes:
- Standard Design- It is possible to add ready-made logo/icon templates in the QR Codes. For details, see: Can I add ready-made logo/icon templates in my QR Code
- Logo Design- Choose the 'Custom Logo Design' option to add colors, logos, etc. to the design of the QR Code
- Background Design- Choose 'Custom Background Design' to upload a poster image on which a QR Code can be placed
B. Design the QR Code in Custom Canvas:
To place a standard/designed QR Code in a custom canvas to add text, images, and QR Code values, choose Custom Images/Labels batch type. Choose the Batch Type as 'Custom Images' in the beginning, and get a canvas for designing. Add Custom Text (static), Custom Images (static), and QR Code content (variable) to the canvas along with the QR Code image. However, please note that all QR Codes in a batch will have the same static design parameters but will have a different variable parameter. Generate QR Codes in multiple designs to create multiple batches.
C. Save the design as a template:
With this feature i.e., Save Design Template, save your designs and use the saved design templates to avoid re-designing QR Codes for each batch.
Access this feature via Choose QR Code Category > Add & Review Data > Add Design > Custom Logo Design.
D. Add readymade logo/icon templates in QR Code:
- Access the QR Batch dashboard
- Select the QR code category to create the batch
- Proceed to Add & Review the Data
- After selecting the category, input the data that will be embedded in the QR codes
- Review this information carefully before moving on to the design stage
- After reviewing the data, proceed to the design section of the tool. Where the QR Code can be customized
- On the Add Design page, choose the 'Custom Logo Design' option to begin adding logos or icons to the QR codes
- After selecting the Custom Logo Design option, click on the 'Customize' button to access the logo and icon settings
- Select Logo and scroll down to Logo Settings
- Under Choose from Gallery, select any Logo or Icon as per the choice
- Click on Select Design and fill in the details in the pop-up
- Click on Next, make the payment, and download the QR Code
E. Modify the white space around the QR Codes:
- Choose the QR Code Category to create the batch
- Proceed to Add & Review the Data
- Continue to Add Design page
- Select the Custom Logo Design option
- Click on Customize
- Go to Background
- Scroll down to Modify Quiet Zone, modify the quiet zone with the given slider
If you're expecting your printed QR Code to undergo wear-and-tear, ensure that that Error Correction Level is set to Q or H. Error correction is set automatically for the QR Code which includes a logo in the design to ensure scannability. If you wish to manually set error correction, it is required to remove the logo.
